Being cool in Beyoglu

In Uncategorized on December 31, 2013 at 5:39 pm

After eating your fish sandwich, enjoy yourself in your way to Taksim square. The Istiklal Caddesi is packed with cool bars and its trendy shops. At the other side of the Galata bridge, you will not see the typical rug shops. Instead, there are several cosy places in which you will find original handicraft products.

Around Sultanahmetz

In Istanbul on December 30, 2013 at 8:17 pm

Chilling temperature, but the streets are full of people. Life is a Journey recommends a walk tour from Sultanahmete till Beyoglu. Just walk and feel the intense positive sensation.
Stop at the spice bazar and treat yourself with the delicious typical Turkish pastry. Cross the Galata bridge and have the traditional fish sandwich, while tourists are queuing to go up to the Galata tower. Keep walking till Taskim square.
Life is Journey will come tomorrow with some ideas on shopping.
Cheers and let’s count down to 2014

Arriving in Istanbul.

We arrived at the hotel at 3am. The hotel has a handy position. It’s near all the must see places. If you’re low budget and still want to stay near Sultanmehd, try the Viva deluxe hotel. Our first day was relaxing: we hung around and in the afternoon, we went to the Grand Bazar.
