In Uncategorized on December 15, 2011 at 3:50 pm

Maybe you will be surprised, but Life is a Journey loves cooking. The cosmopolitan New York city is one of the best places in the world to go for spices, sweets, kitchen accessories, just to mention a few.

So Life is a Journey will give some hot hints on our favorite spots for cooking lovers in NY. In one of our last posts, we described how it was extremly difficult to find a supermarket in Manhattan (Yes, there are a few paradise of food); on the other hand, the city is packed with gourmets, cafés, trendy bars, posh bakeries  and cool cookware shops.

Cool cookware: William-Sonoma at 110 7th Ave, New York in the very heart of Village, Sur la Table at Hell’s Kitchen, Mackenzie-Childs at 14 West 57th Street and Antropologie at 85 5th Avenue.

Cooking paradise: in Kalustyan at 123 Lexington Street, you will find all the best of specialty food.

Gourmet world: Food Emporium and Whole Food – you will find them everywhere in NY.

Cooking bookstore: Kitchen Arts and Letters – it is probably the only one in the world. You will find anything on cooking books.

We will back with other top hints!
